Hello and welcome back to another long awaited Wæstm update! This chapter continues on from the battle that was just dawning at the end of the last segment between our apple and the pear-demon he encountered in his mission to bring good to the world. We have almost ended the journey, so please, check back soon for more updates and maybe (finally) some relief to all of the agony of wondering where the tale is going next ;)

On one other note, I have recently rebooted my instagram account, @modern.old_english, and I would be so grateful if any of you would check it out - what I post there is in keeping with the general concept behind my work on this website, but I have a lot of fun shorter and video-form content there that I hope you enjoy! Light shines in darkness

Light shines around the apple

Majestic, spear ready

Þrymfaest, spere gearowe

Angels sing when he draws the weapon

Encgelu singað hwanne hē ge-brodeð þæt wæpen

The pear draws as well

Seo peru ge-brodeð eac

And then… (drumroll)

Ond þy-dæges… (clatrungwealca)

They fight!
